OK, I take it back. The pool is NOT meters. It is yards. But I'm such a fucktard with my flipturns that it was adding about 5-7 seconds/100y.

So I stopped doing flipturns and now I feel better again.

Yea I know that feeling. Like my last race when I couldn't decide, flip turn or not, I kinda did a fucked up inbetween thing... and swallowed water and choked. Thus I gave up on the flip turns... unless I am doing a cool down and swimming mighty slow. Flipping in the air and landing in the water I can do, flipping underwater is asking for it up your nose.
